We are very proud that each AGA and Rayburn cast-iron range cooker is built in our factory in Shropshire, England to the same exacting standards that have ensured the AGA cooker’s place as one of our most trusted and cherished British brands

AGA and Rayburn cookers feature cast-iron ovens that retain, evenly distribute and radiate gentle heat, preserving the moisture, flavour and goodness of food. Within the ovens, heat is radiated from all surfaces simultaneously to ensure a gentle cooking process without the fierce direct heat found in conventional cookers. Learn more about the benefits and craftsmanship of cast iron cooking.

There’s no other household cooker that generates the emotion and loyalty of an AGA and Rayburn cooker. It’s easy to use, a joy to live with and has been scientifically proven to cook food that tastes better, making it a great addition to any home. Find out why food tastes better in AGA.

The AGA 60 is just 60cm wide and is perfect for kitchens limited by space. With cast-iron ovens for roasting/baking and simmering, and the choice of an AGA hotplate, this cooker is everything you’d expect from AGA, all coated in a beautiful enamel finish.

Our new generation AGA models run solely on electricity as part of our commitment to creating more environmentally friendly and efficient models.

AGA produce a wide range of cookware designed specifically for use on an AGA cooker. To get the most from your AGA, we recommend using specially designed AGA cookware, which features stackable lids, thick bases and detachable handles, to optimise space and cooking results.

You can purchase the AGA cookware from your local dealer. Find Your Local Dealer.

AGA cast-iron cookers are finished in a beautiful vitreous enamel coating and are available in a selection of 16 stunning colours. Colour availability may vary depending on the model, which you can explore on each individual product page.

To experience the colours in person, we recommend visiting your local dealer via Find Your Local Dealer.

It can take many hours for the AGA to cool down due to the efficiency of the insulation.

AGA running costs depend on the model of AGA that you have, the fuel type it uses and how you use your cooker.

The newer all-electric AGA models are much easier to control and provide the opportunity to lower running costs significantly thanks to economy settings, fast heat-up times for hotplates and the ability to operate ovens and hotplates individually.

Induction cooking is fast, powerful, energy-efficient and highly controllable. Unlike traditional gas or ceramic hobs, induction technology heats the pan directly rather than the cooking surface itself.

The induction hob generates a magnetic field, and when suitable cookware is placed on
the induction zone, the circuit is completed — heating the pan and its contents quickly and
efficiently. Service@prestigerepairs.com.au

Induction is one of the most energy-efficient cooking methods available, delivering over 80% of its energy directly to the cookware, compared to around 48% with gas cooking. It’s also a safer option, as only the cookware heats up while the surrounding hob surface remains cooler to touch.

AGA induction hobs also feature advanced safety functions, including child lock functionality for added peace of mind. Learn more about induction cooking.

Cooking on an AGA is so easy, although it may be a little different from what you are used to at first. All newer AGA cast-iron models feature a roasting oven, baking oven and simmering oven and hotplates which are set to the ideal temperatures for boiling and simmering. These dedicated cooking zones at pre-set temperatures offer ease and convenience when cooking.

The cast-iron heat storage ovens radiate heat from elements embedded in their surfaces to gently cook food, ensuring that it retains its moisture, goodness and nutrients.

Cast-iron AGA cookers feature ovens set to the perfect temperatures for roasting, baking and simmering and some models feature conventional fan ovens, hotplates for boiling and simmering and induction hobs.

The new generation AGA cookers are the 'Everyday Radiant' cookers where ovens and hotplates can be easily turned on and off as needed.

AGA cookers are no longer engineered to run central heating systems, however, some models like the Radiant 24/7 models are designed to remain on all of the time and radiate useful background heat to help keep your kitchen feeling cozy. Many AGA models can be switched to an economy setting to keep gentle warm in the room without wasting energy. If you’re looking for a range cooker that controls your central heating, Rayburn may be the perfect cooker for you.

Yes, you will need induction friendly cookware for cooking on induction hobs. Pans need to be ferrous based, which means that a magnet should stick to the base, in order for the electric circuit to complete and switch on. Stainless steel or cast-iron cookware is ideal.

The newer AGA models are much easier to move and can be taken with you when you move, however, we recommend that you do not try to move and transport your AGA cooker by yourself as they’re extremely heavy and by doing so you could actually damage the internal components of the cooker. Please fill out the ‘Other Enquiries’ form below to contact our team, we will be able to offer advice and talk you through the process.

If you have an older generation AGA cooker which has been sited within your kitchen, it
may not be possible to move without disassembling. In these cases, moving may be
extremely costly so it might be more worthwhile to leave the cooker behind and buy a new
one when you move.

If you are buying a 7 Series model you may choose to buy one with an additional integrated AGA Module to help fulfil the demands of your family life. The AGA Module features a conventional fan oven, a slow cook oven and a gas or ceramic hob, to offer additional cooking versatility.

You may also choose to purchase a freestanding AGA Module to use alongside your AGA
cooker or for times when you don’t want to switch your AGA on.

Yes, AGA heat-storage cookers radiate a gentle warmth that dries clothes beautifully, reducing your need for a tumble dryer.

Use an airer or clothes horse to dry your clothes, but be careful never to drape clothes or sheets in front of the ventilation holes on the burner door, electrical control panels or badge.

The AGA can also make light work of ironing items such as pillow covers or t-shirts. Simply place your item on the simmering plate cover overnight to be 'AGA-ironed'.

Yes. Selected Rayburn models can provide central heating and hot water as well as cooking. Depending on the model, a Rayburn can heat your kitchen, supply domestic hot water, and in some cases heat radiators throughout the home. Explore our Rayburn models to find the right option for your space.

Yes. Rayburn cookers are especially popular in regional, rural and lifestyle properties, where the ability to cook, heat the home and provide hot water from one appliance can be particularly valuable. Selected models are well suited to off-grid or country living, depending on your home setup and fuel source. Explore our Rayburn models to find the right option for your space.

AGA cookers can be left on 24/7, especially during those cold winter months, providing that useful background heat. These models are so flexible they allow individual heat storage ovens to be left on while others may be switched off to save energy. In addition, the AGA hotplates can be switched on and off as required, with fast heat-up times of 10-12 minutes, so they are ready to cook when you are.

This should not be happening and could indicate an issue with the cooker or the way that it is being used. To reduce moisture within the ovens we recommend a lid is used on any cooking vessels to retain moisture or alternatively that food is wrapped in foil when cooking. If this is done and the issue persists, please complete the ‘Product Issue/Fault’ form below and our team will be in touch.

It is common for water to pool inside the ovens, even when you are cooking at a high temperature, due to high moisture content within the ovens when cooking food. To reduce pooling, we recommend using a lid on any cooking vessels to retain moisture or alternatively, wrapping food in foil.

When the door of an AGA or Rayburn is closed, steam should not be able to escape. This would indicate that the door is not sealed properly and may require adjustment. Please fill out the ‘Product Issue/Fault’ form to contact our team to discuss this further.

When the oven doors are open, steam will naturally flow out of the largest opening. This is normal and does not require further attention from an engineer.

Food can cook unevenly in the AGA ovens if they are not up to temperature, as the heat needs time to saturate the ovens so they are ready for full use. Check your User Manuals and ensure that you are giving your cooker the recommended time to reach cooking temperature.

When cooking on the base on an oven, ensure that the floor grid is used as this will preventthe base of the food from becoming over-cooked.

Also, certain ovens require a baffle plate to be fitted, to ensure the heat is evenly spreadaround the oven. If you are getting uneven cooking results, it may be because this has beenremoved or has moved out of place.

If the issue persists, please complete the ‘Product Issue/Fault’ form below and our team will be in touch.

The constant warmth of an AGA and Rayburn actually makes cleaning much easier, as the radiant heat carbonises any cooking spills and splashes. This means that the hot ovens and hotplates practically clean themselves, requiring only an occasional brush. A daily wipe with a damp cloth should be enough to maintain the shine of your vitreous enamel surfaces. If spills are left, they can bake on and become more difficult to remove. In this case, we would recommend investing in AGA-approved cleaning products which are available from AGA Cookshop.
