Steamed Basmati Rice

- 225g Basmati Rice
- 350ml water
- 1 tbsp salt
Preparation Time: 2 minutes. Cooking Time: 23 minutes.
- Place 225g (8 oz) washed Basmati rice into an AGA 2 litre Stainless Steel Saucepan with the water and salt.
- Bring to the boil on the boiling plate, hotplate on boiling setting or induction hob on high.
- Stir, cover and transfer to the floor grid placed in the simmering oven or oven on B1 setting for 20 minutes.
- Fluff up with a fork and serve.
Tip: to give a subtle flavour to this rice cook with a bay leaf.
